This place has the best Tex-Mex food in the area bar none. although some of the items on the menu are hit and miss, but if you stick to the variations of the enchiladas plates (especially beef and cheese) you cannot fail...you will have what I consider to be the best enchiladas I've ever had in my life.. they honestly melt in your mouth, the salsas are also unbelievably good, especially the hot one. The frozen margaritas are also strong and perfectly mixed every time. this place is honestly worth a trip for any foodie in harris county, and if you live in the NE side, there is no restaurant around here that even comes close to this place at tex-mex, although don't come here looking for authentic Mexican food or ambience, the staff are nice enough, and there when you need them , I come here to eat, not chat with the staff so i like the hands-off aproach, with just a few check-ups. the food is a bargain compared to the lame chain type tex-mex joints although it seems to get more expensive each year (it was dirt cheap when I first ate here) anyways....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ( get the Ballondo plate)

Dona Lupe's is a favorite of my co-workers and my family. However, the wait-staff and management are sometimes rude, causing us to wonder if they really appreciate our business.

This eatery is right outside our neighborhood. You might call it a hole in the wall. The decor has a Mexican flavor and it's really not well done...but the food and service more than makes up for it.

Our family favorite? Fajitas. Yummm. Most of the time we call in the order and pick it up. It's always ready on time and is just as good at home. Servings are generous and the Fajitas for One can easily feed two people, if you're not pigs! Just ask for a few extra tortillas. Delicious!
