Newburgh Restaurant Guide

The food is delicious. It is real Italian food . The tomato sauce is not bitter or acidic , but , just right. The service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy good food and a friendly environment.

Met some family from upstate NY there about halfway from our home in NJ. Excellent food and quick service, but not rushed at all. Four of us had meals from the lunch specials menu - value priced, still large portions, but smaller portions than their dinner menu they told us. Fish was fresh, cooked perfectly, pasta was not overdone. Salads were crisp with a nice house vinaigrette, fresh bread on the table. We were happy to have found such a great place tucked away someplace where it would be easy to miss. Easy on/off access from I-87 and I-84, plenty of parking.

My son and his girl friend drove from Albany to meet me and my younger son for a late lunch. I live in the Poconos and it was certainly worth the trip! We were greeted immediately by a friendly waitress and were seated promptly. We each had a salad and shared a jumbo shrimp cocktail which was excellent. The chicken parmesan and lasagna parmesan were delicious and authentic Italian cooking. The portions were huge (we each had a doggie bag to take home!). The tiramisu was heavenly and one serving is enough for two people! I could go on but I'm sure you get the idea -- this place is well worth your time and money if you love authentic Italian cooking. The only thing I would suggest is that they play music to add to the authentic and friendly atmosphere.

The food was good. The portions were large, you'll need a big appetite.

WE HAVE BEEN DINING HERE APX 8 YRS AND THE FOOD NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE US FAMILY MEMBERS MAN THE KITCHEN LIKE NO OTHER AUTHENTIC ITALIAN DISHES FRESHEST INGREDIENTS OVERALL CASUAL FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE ITALIAN FOOD LIKE GRAMA MADE!!! YOULL BECOME A REGULAR JUST LIKE WE DID WE LOVE IT!THEY ARE A VERY TOUGH ACT TO FOLLOW FOR TASTE OVERALL AND PLENTIFULNESS YOU WILL NOT LEAVE HUNGRY HOMEMADE TIRAMESU IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE DESSERTS THE CALAMARI IS TENDER YET HAS A WONDERFUL CRISPNINESS TO IT THEIR PASTA SAUCE IS JUST LIKE YOUR GRANDMOTHER IS COOKING ON A SUNDAY ALWAYS WORTH THE RIDE FOR US AND WE HAVE COME TO KNOW THE FAMILY OVER THE YEARS THEY ARE ALL HARD WORKING AND COMMITTED TO SERVING THEIR CUSTOMERS THE BEST FOOD POSSIBLE THEY CONSIDER MANY OF THEIR REGULARS FAMILY AND WE CONSIDER THEM NUMERO ONO IN OUR BOOK OF FAVORITE ITALIAN RESTAURANTS!!!!!

The food is excellent and plentiful. The menu is extensive, so you can get anything you desire. The price is very reasonable, especially for the amount and quality of the food. The place is low-key and casual - not much ambience, but a nice place to go for a great meal without spending a lot of money.

Food is excellent, Warm and friendly atmosphere although the room is too small and a little cramped. With a new room being built, I hope they redo the entire restaurant and make it one of the finest Italian restaurants in the area.
