My husband and I have enjoyed eating at Copeland's several times as well as eating there with other friends and family members. The majority of the time we have received 5 Star meals as well as service. On one occasion, I would have rated our food a 3 Star. Very glad we have Copelands in Alexandria!!! Great Restaurant and Great Service! The band on Sundays is also really special!

My husband I have tried several times to give this restuarant a fair chance but this last time that we dined there(May 24, 2008) , we were so disgused that we couldn't even speak.I ordered the seafood platter and The fish was about the size of your little finger, the shrimp was popcorn shrimp, the crawfish tails were about the size of a small pea. All cooked so hard, it was like rubber. 80% of your food was greasy french fries and onion strings. My husband had 1/2 fish and 1/2 shrimp and his was the same way. To make things worse when we reported it to the manager, he acted like he didn't care one way or the other. He asked me, "Have you ever had our seafood platter before?" I said, "NO". then, he said, "It's not usually like that!" Took my plate that I had only ate two things off of and we never saw him again. After all of that we still had to pay $53.00 for nothing. We expected more than that for $21.50 per plate. We are so disappointed and disgusted I can't even tell you.
