I just returned from The Concord Family Restaurant and witnessed the most apalling display of dis-respect and discourtesy to a fellow human being. At his request, he was directed to an outlet right in front of my table and I couldn't help over hearing his phone conversation. Even though he was obviously getting the run-around from the power company to which he was speaking,he remained curteous and humble. The manager appeared and told him quite nastily that he had to disconect. He agreed to do so but asked if he could have a couple of minutes to complete the call. Apparently, he couldn't because soon after, a cook or kitchen staff appeared. I stopped the cook and informed him that I was dis-satisfied with my breakfast.( It was not good.) He wasn't interested in that. His only mission was to make this man un-plug his phone. When this didn't happen immediatly, He reached out and grabbed at the man. To me, it looked as if he grabbed his wrist that contained his phone I'm assurming to force this issue. Total disregard for this person as a individual and absolute incompetency as a professional establishment. I will not return... A bit of irony for you, found out later the gentlemans name is Jesus.

I have relocated to Concord in April, 2010. This is by far my favorite family restaurant in Concord. When I first moved here, me and my family ate there approximately three times per week. The food, prices, and staff are exceptional. The desserts are heaven sent(homemade).

The food is amazing. True Greek & Italian food. Makes you feel at home. Owners come out and interact with the customers. The service isn't so great. Some of the waitresses/waiters aren't very friendly. Some look like they have had a long night before and have been wearing the same clothes are a week. The cleanliness isn't something to rave about. Beware of the bathrooms. Aren't so clean and aren't many stalls. So, if it is crowded, I wouldn't go to the bathroom because you'll probably stand in a long line. The desserts are homemade and to die for! Owners are very friendly and welcoming when they see you. Overall this place is a good place to eat. The service some days are slow and timing. Waiting for food is pretty lengthy. I've gotten food cold before. And when my food comes, the waiter/waitress is smelling like a cigarette. Which lingers around when I eat. Sometimes I have waited for over 15 minutes for someone just to take my drink order. Granted this isn't every time. But do beware in case it's a night you go. Karaoke nights are wild and crazy. Don't take your family to eat there on a karaoke night. It's not a family place come karaoke time.

I grew up working at Concord Family Restaurant (93-1999) and it was then, and still is, the food I dream about! Homemade bread, dressings, Chicken Parm, New Orleans, any omelet, etc... Haven't had it anywhere better since. Breakfast, lunch, dinner-you can't go wrong! I always make sure my visits include a trip to CFR. The family behind it is what I love best, not only because I love them as my own, but because they love everyone as their own as well. Great people, great food-you can't go wrong:)

This place has a lot of different foods available, but it is absoulutly filthy dirty. The rest room is so bad you need a wire brush to get into the door! They use so much garlic on the food it is crazy. The waitresses all look like they have been wearing the same clothes for a week!

This was the first time we were there. It was fantastic. It reminded me of the Diners back in Jersey. They gave you so much food, I couldnt eat it all. Even though I couldnt eat it all, I had to have a piece of Cheese Cake. All of the deserts looked delicious. The Cheese Cake just melted in my mouth. This place is now on the top of my favorite places to eat. Even though it is a few towns away, it is worth the travel.

Eating at Concord Family Diner makes me feel right at home. Wonderful home cooked meals, friendly faces, desserts to die for, and owners Gus and Pete. These are the reason that my family
keeps going back. It's way better then fast

This is truly a great place to eat. They have a large menu and and a large dessert selection. The food is great, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. Try their salads when you go, they are mouth watering. If given a chance this will probably become one of your favor treats as it is mine.

Concord Family Diner is my absolute favorite place for breakfast! The food is homemade and freshly prepared, portions are HUGE and the service is excellent. The interior has been redone in a 50's style diner...great food, great atmosphere and great service. This place is just that: great!

Concord Family Diner is absolutely THE place to go to for breakfast! HUGE portions of great food at a great price. The food is homemade and cooked fresh to order. I have not had anything that wasn't off the breakfast menu but I've heard that everything they serve is excellent.
Pete and Gus and the rest of the family and staff have done an incredible job of renovating this place into a fun '50's style diner. Service is great;you always get treated like a VIP at the diner, no matter who you are.
Just thinking of their home fries, omelettes and toasted homemade muffins makes my mouth water! Not sure but I believe you can get breakfast items anytime of day. I hope so because writing this review just made me decide what I want for lunch:-)

Concord Family Restaurant is the best place in Concord to eat breakfast. I love it! I work out of town and am gone most of the time. I travel all over the country, but I always, always think of Concord Family Restaurant. My favorite waitress in America is Jo. I don't know her last name, but when I think of home, Jo comes t mind. She is just a breath of fresh air and an assett to the whole Concord Family Restaurant experience. I can't wait to come home. This is a must place to go if you are in the Concord area. I highly recommend this restaurant. Tell Jo I said hi.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!! Three things stand out about the Concord Family Diner and each one is amazing. The people, the food, and the environment. Being a family of three, that relocated to the Concord area close to a year ago, we were lucky to have friends recommend " The Diner". The first time our family visited we were greeted by an owner and a staff that were friendly, professional, and very concerned about the quality of both the food and the service. My wife and I have over 15 years of food and beverage service and both recognized what a great dining experience consists of whether you are spending $5 per plate or $50 per plate. The food maintains the same standards as the staff. With one of the most comprehensive menus I have ever viewed, our family has never been disappointed in the quality or portions of any item we have ordered. The food is served in a timely fashion and a staff member checks to make sure the meal is exactly what the customer wants. Customers are able to choose from a wide selection of both healthy items, traditional Greek favorites, and even those "guilty pleasure" type items. If you want it they have got it. The environment is outstanding for several reasons. Being a father of a 16 month old daughter, the atmosphere of a restaurant is an important factor for my family. After our first visit we were remembered by name and have been treated like family ever since. Our family eats out about three times a week and we have found that we visit the diner on at least two of those occasions. I have noticed several families that visit like our family on a regular basis. This restaurant's name is a true and accurate reflection concerning the atmosphere of this establishment. An amazing place with AMAZING people, food, and environment.
