The service and staff are excellent & friendly. You really get a good cooked meal or a great sandwich for a great price. The place is very small, though and I hope that they expand the inside and parking areas. The only thing I have have a problem with are the cakes & pies. They need to be a lot fresher. As it is, they seem to have stayed on the shelf a little too long but the coffee is great. Other than that, this is a great place to enjoy your food or drink before or after a visit to the racetrack or the surrounding areas of Yonkers.

The food is not bad-but don't try to order for a party-I tried to order catering for 85 people & the woman could not give me answers on anything. Not helpful.

The Clairmont Diner is definitely the best place to get a fresh cooked meal. The food is not only great tasting but it is also very affordable. The diner is small and cozy and always is full of smiling customers and staff. I have been going to this diner for over 10 years and I NEVER had one complaint or bad meal. I recommend this diner above all and guarantee you will too!

i have been stopping at this diner for 5 or 6 years & i ntiiced the service is not as good in about the last year or so.the food is very good & the value is great.

It looks like a diner in a house but the food is excellent!!! Dont listen to morons who cant be pleased no matter what they eat...this place is wonderful..I pass right by the Raceway Diner to get to it....Dont believe me....try out on omelette from both places and you will visibly see the difference before you even take a bite.

This diner is Great & From What I Know The Owner Shops Himself For The Fresh Meats & Vegetables a Few Times Per Week , If Thats Not A Good Thing I Don't Know What Is.Try The Chicken Francaise I'm Sure You Will Love It.

I read the last review, Thankfully I didn't take there advice!!! This is the best "hidden jewel" in Yonkers! The person who wrote that review was obviously in a bad mood or a miserable person!! Not only was the food great,but the service was fast,accurate,friendly, and attentive. They have a friendly,family atmosphere,like everyone knew eachother for years like "cheers" Where can you go these days for a $3.oo breakfast?! I went back for dinner the next night and was even more impressed,The portions,Mama Mia,and for the price!! It's a small diner,but the line was out the door! That must mean something!! Again, The person who reviewed this and was unhappy,must be a very miserable lonely person. Oh, and our waitress was funny,cute,and very clean looking,the whole staff was great!! Trust me you'll love it!!!!

This diner has the best tasting food in Yonkers. It is a diner that is busy 24 hours and 7 days a week. It was voted best diner in Yonkers for its great quality food, service, and reasonable pricing. A definite place to visit!

my experience in this diner was disappointing. Food presentation was sloppy and my waitress appearance was dirty. I do not recommend anybody to visit this place.
