Livonia Restaurant Guide

I am always weary of trying new food, no matter where I go. Tonight was no exception. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised with my order at Chin's. This sesame chicken was by far the best I have had in a LONG, LONG TIME, and they most assuredly have a repeat customer. Even the pork fried rice was fresh, hot, and to DIE for. If you are a fan of delicious food, give Chin's a try; whether you choose to dine in our out, it's a wonderful choice for quality.

My family have been going to this restaurant for most of my life & I now take my children as well. The restaurant has a very mellow atmosphere & the food is fantastic, especially the egg rolls! No one can beat a Chins Egg Roll. The restaurant is at least 40 + years old, it's been around that long for a reason. Damn good food!

we've been patrons of this resturant for over 20 yrs, its the same great food for a great value, even the same decorations on the wall, only the waitresses change. we are now making the same trip but from ann arbor, its our grown childrens favorite place to eat on their b-day's!

I wanted to order a dinner combination. I cannot eat pork or shrimp fried rice. The restaurant would not let me substitute with chicken fried. I was willing to pay the extra for the substitution, but they would not allow it. The only way I could get chicken fried rice with my meal is to pay over $4.00 to have it packaged separately. I asked if they would add an egg roll to compensate, since I did not want the pork or shrimp fried rice, and they refused. I could, however, have chicken fried rice if I order the sweet & sour chicken, which I also cannot have. It seems to me they would have cooperated with me in order to make the sale and have a satisfied customer. This was my first experience with this restaurant, and it will be my last.

the back area was very dirty the waitreses were slow, chefs made everything to salty, hot and over all disgusting. i for sure will never go back, thats fore sure. the only thing that i found extremely pleasent was the set up and the decorations were breathtaking.

Everything tasted good, staff was friendly but the smoking section needs to go! This place offers no seperation of smokers and non smokers. They need to get with the program and ditch the smoking section like most places in Livonia.
