We patronized the Chili's in Zephyrhills on Feb. 15, 2008 and we were absolutely appalled to the following circumstances that developed....We sat in the bar area and enjoyed a nice glass of wine, prior to dinner...Our waiter was lovely and very friendly and accommodating...We ordered and another waitress brought our dinner, at which she went to put my husband's plate down and bumped his glass of wine, breaking the glass and splashing wine all over my husband's shorts & shirt....She never appologized or even acknowledged she did anything wrong/accidentally...she abruptly cleaned it up and went her merry way..We never saw her again...I did ask if glass, perhaps, got into his food, at which she just nodded "no" and left...My hubby was humiliated and wasn't sure what to do, and still keep his manners...The manager came to our table and we addressed the situation and mentioned that no appology was ever made...he appologized for her and just mentioned that my husband could take his clothes to the dry cleaners and they'd pay the bill...(that's it? C'mon...) We paid our bill and yes, we never got a dime off our meals, just for compensation and the embarrassment of the whole ordeal...We will NEVER come back to this place, as nothing much was even done to replace or compensate for the horrible experience we had...We're sorry to have to address this situation but in helping others and making others aware, may help in avoiding it from happening again..thanks for your time...
