My husband and I always rely on Chez Suzette when celebrating a special event. The food is superb and is a nice break away from the usual chains found around Lubbock. We highly recommend the Chateau Briand, although it does require 24 hours notice, this is a meal that is worth the wait! We have always found the staff to be attentive and kind and will continue to make this our favorite date spot.

The food is excellent; however, the service is just awful. We arrived at 8pm one evening (they were scheduled to close at 9pm) and there was only one other occupied table at that time. We were seated immediately, but we didn't even meet our waiter until 8:20. It took ten more minutes to get our drinks, and twenty minutes after that to receive our dinner. We were never even offered dessert; we didn't get our ticket until after 9pm. I will never go there again. If you're interested in the food, call in an order to go.

You can't miss this restaurant when you are in Lubbock. The food is great. It is often very busy and loud, however the food is always delicious. We have driven 180 miles (one-way) before just to dine at this restaurant.

I love Frenchman's for special occasions. The food is wonderful. We have tried many items and enjoyed everything.
