Everything it should be. It's nice to go where people care about the food they serve. I recommend taking the time to go there. We drive from Mandeville because it's worth the trip.

Went to Charlies for the first time Thursday, May 21, 2009. It was the first of many trips. It was all I was told about and then some. Food quality and quantity is excellent! Service was friendly and fast. An awesome eating experience that easily justified the 45 mile drive. Expect a short wait for seating due to return business but you will be back, just as I will. If you like seafood, you will not believe the Charlie's Platter. It contains enough food for 2 or 3 people. Charlie's is the only out-of-town restaurant I will use in the future.

What can I say, WE LOVE THIS PLACE!! The kids that work there are awesome and the food is incredible. LOVE IT!!!!!!

This is the best place to eat in this area! You have to get there by at least 5:30pm so you don't have to wait. On the weekend, the average wait is an hour - but it is sooooo worth it. My husband and I split a seafood platter and still have leftovers to take home. I love this place!!!!
