Charming little renovated house turned restaurant in downtown Albuquerque. It is a cozy and clean family style Mexican restaurant with made to order sopapillas and homemade flour tortillas. Being from the east coast I have never heard of or seen anyone making the tortillas from scratch. But my breakfast burrito was made with one and WOW... what a thing of beauty! The Huevos Rancheros with the green chili sauce was really good. The beans were left whole while the hash browns were freshly made to order, all of which was assemble on top of the corn tortilla and topped off with shredded cheese. Wrap this baby up in the homemade flour tortilla and you've got yourself one of the best Huevos Rancheros you'll ever eat! The only reason we did not give this place a 5 Stars was because the homemade chips can out a bit stale. Overall this is a wonderful Mexican restaurant that is worth a repeat visit and is inspiring my wife to make those tortillas at home in North Carolina.

We were visiting from Louisiana. Best food, staff, & sunset! We went 3 times. Best coconut margarita EVER. Will go there again, it is well worth the drive. Looking forward to our next trip to ABQ and Sandiago's.

There are alot of Mexican places in ABQ but Papa Felipe's has good food and most excellent MARGARITAS. The lunch menu and happy hour specials make this place a go to for good food at a good price. Worth checking out.
