10-2-2011 at Lunchtime was our first time there; and notwithstanding this "review", we intend to go back again. **PLUS Salsa was Super Awesome!!= in all our eyes and really Spicy like we like it, as well as decently flavorful too. ->(But whisper to Chef that for majority of most restaurant patrons expectations, make it "medium" so like instead of on today's visit (that, again we REALLY ENJOYED), just tone down the simple "Heat" of it down a little.)
1. (HOSTESS)..was very courteous and helpful as to special request.
2. (WAITRESS)..took too long in getting initial beverages
+ 3. Also she could not answer question on differences between Carmona's many choices of Margarita's (ALL types were, I think, @ $7.49 =Very high-$$..Especially since served in small qty./volume glasses).
+ 3a. -->
+ 3b. -->
= AND/Waitress never asked about drink refills;; (&=.!-She FORGOT Queso TWICE! =I always order cheese dip @ same time as drinks to eat w/chips Before meal.)
- However, as to the Queso item itself = both Yummy &, Different since meat and cilantro mixed in and NO Other Mex./Tex-Mex's we've been have had that Even as an option; --> BUT, on the Bad 'flip-side', is that IF my Vegetarian friend had been there, because of the meat, he could not have had "plain" queso since there was NO Option.
-->Finally as to FOOD dishes,,
+First, the MENU was both exciting and yet, almost overwhelmingly large too. That is a delicate balance,, but when coupled with taking care to read almost every item's "ingredient" description, it seemed..--if this makes sense-?--..seemed all The "Same."
(BEANS)..the idea is cool but (at least today,) they SUCKED-! =Usually we love "borracho" beans (a semi-kind of a Soup made using Pinto Beans), as alternate to refried, and then cool that they had it at all-since MOST Other places don't -(FYI, though: 2 places we go to eat Do have borracho beans, and different "recipes", too.) + It was just funny that on our table's order, two combo plates Auto-came with Borracho beans while the fajita platter had refried=& NOT by request--*just weird OR, bad service.?.? (Actually, like I said most all menu items "seemed-same", I think damn near every dish had borracho's INSTEAD of the refried; (I happen to like both ways, but I mostly decide only as: just with different kinds of mex. dishes).
->Fajita platter was small.
->Spinach tasted Old; and yet, redeemer was: ..
...->My Chile Relleno was good "overall" with LOTS OF MEAT. But & Unfortunately you could not tell you were also eating a nice, fleshy, pablano pepper and, of the 3-available sauce choices(=again, more than one (3) is almost overwhelming)...was that my Ranchero sauce was hardly there and completely Tasteless!!, not even a little "Tomato-ey."/flavored.
-> P.S. I don't know if Guac. was good or not since I am allergic and don't eat it. But just to say, And as like with most all the dishes having "borracho-beans", those did have Guac. too; except maybe, a sm.part of Menu(?).

Kind of mediocre but has a good atmosphere. They dont leave any pink in the middle of the fajitas. Spinach quesadilla is terrible. House margarita is waaaayyy too sweet and has little lime.

This place really sucks! it's truly terrible. The food taste like it's been microwaved and the drinks are way over priced. Take your business somewhere else!
