I have had breakfast here twice, and dinner once and so far have been pleased. I will be returning for breakfast while on business in July. First, I must say there is no way to justify the price they charge for breakfast, but you know that going in. At least so far I have found the food served to be fresh, especially the fruit and fruit juices. I don't know if they still prepare the Eggs Sardout (sp?) but, I can recommend them. Skip the wine at breakfast and your wallet will suffer significantly less damage. The service was not only top rate, but in our case included two free servings of Bananas Foster!

Excellent breakfast and best deal on a burger & fries. Always go there whenever we visit NOLA. Same staff - friendly.

If it weren't for the Bananas Foster the rating would be much lower. We knew going in to "Brennans for breakfast" it was going to be expensive. However what we didn't expect was poor service, a burnt English Muffin with the $28 eggs Benedict and the waiter forgetting abuot our Bananas Foster-the main reason we came. I expected much more than below average food and terrible service (we had to ask 3 times for our waiter to bring our grapefruit jucie) when spending $95 for breakfast. This is truely a tourist trap and we fell into it!!! ONLY GO FOR THE BANANAS FOSTER.
