The Story of Jean Paul Boudreaux

Jean Paul Boudreaux is a man of many talents, but his greatest talent is making crazy mistakes. Jean Paul Boudreaux grew up in Thibodaux, Louisiana in the 1960's and 1970's. From a child, he was always getting into trouble: setting things on fire, breaking bones, just generally clumsy. In his teen years Jean Paul went to a high school in Thibodaux. There he met the love of his life, Elaine Breaux. Elaine was a great cook, Jean Paul, who couldn't boil water, was hooked. While Elaine was visiting her family in Marrero, Jean Paul went hungry for two days then decided to try to cook some Red Beans and Andouille Sausage. Well, Jean Paul set the kitchen on fire and burned the house to the ground. When Elaine returned home, furious, Jean Paul vowed to learn how to cook and make enough money to rebuild their house. Homeless, the couple moved in with Elaine's family in Marrero. With lots of lessons from Elaine and her family, a lot of patience, and a fire extinguisher always on hand. He created such dishes fried alligator, crawfish cakes and jambalaya. His dishes were so good that he decided to open up his own Cajun Creole Restaurant Boudreaux's. Jean Paul wants everyone to enjoy his greatest accidental talent.
