Restaurant Description

Steeped in art deco splendor and a high energy atmosphere, Bistro 1410 Ocean Drive makes a stylish stop for a great meal right in the center of America's Riviera. Perfectly situated in the urban paradise of South Beach on Ocean Drive, this restaurant is a chic, contemporary retreat in the heart of it all. A great place to kick back, have a drink and do some serious people-watching, especially while at one of the outdoor tables. The food is exceptional. But it is the coming together of the food, service, setting, and music that makes this restaurant unlike any place on Ocean Drive.

One of the worst experiences and most overpriced lunches I have ever had at a restaurant. Party of four total was over $82. Iced Teas $5, Amstel Light $7, the Colossal Bistro Burger $17 (very greasy), 3 bowls of Spaghetti Bolognese, Lunch special $10, normal $18 (Small portions with no side bread). Would not honor restaurant.com coupon for $25 since special lunch specials were ordered even though the normal cost of the other items were over the $35 minimum requirement. Also added the mandatory 18% gratuity to the tax included. This restaurant is a blemish to South Beach and is a rip off. Avoid.

This is one of Miami Beach's best restaurant, not only for it's food but because of the great service it provides, the architecturally unique atmosphere, and the very reasonable prices. They also serve the best fries!

Average food quality, hair found on two of our dinner plates, fish tasted frozen

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. My family and I were walking on south beach one night when it started to pour and Bistro 1410 was the closest place for shelter from the rain. We read the menu and decided to eat there, which by the way was the best decision we could have made. The food was fantastic the service was very friendly and the place itself was very trendy and clean. I would reccomend this place to anybody that's looking for a good restaurant on south beach.

I had lunch at this restaurant after a walk on the beach. The food and service was good and reasonably priced. You don't want to miss this place when you visit south beach!

We stopped here to have lunch while exploring South Beach. We ate outdoors. The waiter was indifferent. I asked what was in the chopped salad and he listed some ingredients. When it came, it did have the ingredients he listed but also had capers and olives, which I don't care for. Also, the salad was not chopped! When he finally returned to our table (someone else delivered the meals) I mentioned to him that the salad was not chopped. He said he knew that, it is just called a chopped salad, but they never chop it (why not call it a tossed saled?) WE had to beg for napkins, straws as such. To make matters worse, after lunch as we strolled down the beach we discovered that almost evey other restauant was offering discounts until 7:00p.m. I would not go back to this place under any circumstances.

I just had lunch at that restaurant a couple hours ago. The reason I went to Bistro 1410 was because of a $25 restaurant.com coupon I got online for $10. I will never go back. Not even for free.
Upon sitting I presented the coupon to my server, after waiting for him for 15 minutes. He said he would check with the manager to see if they would take it. They did take the coupon but they didn’t do it for free. As we were waiting for the food to come in, 45 minutes, we enjoyed the scenery and we noticed the plates were pretty big in size. However that was not our case. Because we used the coupon, they brought us plates half the size of other tables. I’m not kidding. My wife ordered the Patty Melt; they brought a Patty Melt with only one burger, when in other tables they all had 2 patties. My Bistro 1410 burger was the same thing. They brought me a McDonald’s cheeseburger size burger. But they charged me the menu price of $10.50. Plus the 18% included Tip and they included the Tip on the TAX. I thought that was illegal.
I use those restaurant.com coupons very often as I dine out every day and thanks to those I go to many different restaurants. I will definitely take this out of my list as I will never go back.
