I consider this place one of Sterling Heights best kept secrets. I say secret because of it's odd location. You almost don't notice the place when driving buy. Once inside, the look is a bit of the new mixed with the old. The place is pretty clean, and that staff and managers are very friendly.
The waitress I had was a tiny young woman but she was very quick and friendly. I really didn't need to ask for anything short of a refill and an extra napkin. The manager looked like a middle eastern guy, but was very cordial and polite and introduced me to my next guilty pleasure: the Arnold Palmer. A weird concoction of half lemonade and iced tea. Definitely better than my usual iced tea with a wedge of lemon.
I found the food to be cooked with a little more TLC here compared to other Big Boys around the area. You can almost taste the difference. The food is good old American burgers and fries, with a few curve balls here and there. There is tons of parking, and the staff is usually what keeps me going back instead of going to B-dubs or McD's down the street.
If you get time, give them a visit. I am sure this place will create a little spot on your itinerary of places to relax and dine.
By the way being able to enjoy my sandwich while watching the Pistons win on their humongous TV, and going home with a basketball I won from the crane machine was the topper to my night. It's also part of the reason I gave the place four stars instead of three.
On a final note, the music is trendy music, the stuff my kids are into, but not what I'm into, which isn't really a big deal. The manager was cool about changing the channels to cartoon network and then to the pistons game when it began. The manager seems to enjoy kids, I know my kids enjoyed a laugh or two with him. He went the extra mile by giving my kids a bag of candy which put a smile on their face.
They did a nice remodeling job on the restaurant, in and out. For some reason they did not touch the bathrooms. They are a mess and very dirty, especially the floors. It looks nobody will clean those rooms, even after this was mentioned to management. Overall it is a nice friendly restaurant. Good food and friendly servant.

Me and my wife had dinner at this big boy last night on our first lent night. It was unbelieveable expesrience. I know its not a 5 star restaurant but the way we were treated it felt like it was. Food was great, service was amazing. We will definitely go back there again.
