a diner from Romeo, MI
I went to the Clinton Township Big Boy's, and I was very unhappy with the food and service. The waitress never came back to check on us or anything. I ordered a milkshake and it was nothing like it used to be. On the menu, it said that it is served the old fashioned way and they'll bring out the tin full of what was left over from what they made. I got a milkshake- a quarter of the size it used to be, and they didn't bring out the tin. It was almost like drinking chocolate milk. When I asked about it, the waitress said "There wasn't that much left." The fries weren't cooked all the way, and the sauce that was on the big boy had a strong taste of mustard. The food was served on a plastic dish with a paper liner. What ever happened to the ceramic dishes, good service, and the portion sizes? It was alot more like an over-priced fast food restaurant rather than a regular restaurant.

a diner from clinton twp., mi.
I went to big boys in clinton twp., Mi. and was very unhappy. The service was fine, the food was fine. What made me unhappy was the fact that the down sized the plates and bowls for the salad bar. I asked for a reg. size bowl as the ones at the bar have always been to small. They brought me a bowl that looked smaller but, I wasn't sure until I went to grab a plate, it is the size of a saucer plate. In fact the bowl that the gave me fit very nicely on the little plate. The plate holder still holds the real size plates and shows how much smaller the new ones really are. The plates and bowls are brand new and the whole place has blace has been re-modeled and looks very nice and clean. Of course they didn't put the comment box back up or I would have filled one out. I didn't bother telling the staff how I felt, as this is none of their fault & out of thier hands. When you pay for an "all you can eat" type of food one should not have to make six trips for one nice salad & soup. They are trying to fool your mind And stomach with these doll size plates and bowls and, thats what makes me mad. I'am not a big eater but, they made me feel as I was. I really don't know if I'll ever go back again and thats a damn shame.

I come here all the time, this Big Boy location is truly one of the best we have in Michigan. Great food, breakfast all day, cute staff, and just a great place to hang out and have a cup of coffee too.

Did I mention they have free WiFi!!

Wonderful place, I highly recommend for any type of occasion!
