This is a Northerner writing this review. I am Canadian in fact but I have a Souther Belly. This is one of the greatest dinning experiences of my life. This is the epitome of Southern cooking. I love me some southern vegetable plates and i have had no finer than at the Belle Meade. The selection is outstanding. You could come back every day for a month and not have the same meal twice. The food is high quality. The staff friendly and helpful. The place is a must try if you are going to Nashville.
You may think that just because I am from Canada that I don't know a hoe cake from corn bread or sucatash from black eyed peas but you would be wrong. I love collard greens, fried ocra, butter beans, biscuts, and red velvet cake. I hope that convinces you of my south cred.
