I have eaten here a lot and the Polo Genovese is my favorite dish. However, I have experienced a lot of inconsistency in the way it is prepared. I would rate it at 5 stars tops to 2 stars on occasion. They may have more than one chef. Otherwise how do you explain the inconsistency?

The restaurant was nicely appointed. The bread was fresh and the salad was tasty, though small. Our main dish, Osobuco, which was one of the specials of the day, was $29.00 per plate. This entree was watery and fatty with bland taste. It was very disappointing. We do not drink, so when they brought the check and it came to $80.00, we were both shocked. Definately not worth the money, too expensive for what it was.

We had been to Bella Luna a few times and it was always very nice. Last year we went to Bella Luna for dinner on Valentine's Day and had a wonderful time so we thought we would go back again this year. WHAT A MISTAKE!!!! When we made the reservation we asked to be seated in a specific servers section, this did not happen. When we were seated they gave us a sheet of paper which was the menu, 4 courses for $38 a person. We were a little shocked since last year they were using the regular menu and when we made the reservation (in person) we were not informed the menu was going to be different, otherwise we would have gone somewhere else. The first course was stuffed mushrooms, 5 small cold mushrooms stuffed with bread crumbs on a plate of lettuce, they were aweful. The bread was smashed and the salad was small. The salad plates had not cleared and the main course was brought to the table. I had the pasta with shrimp, scallops and vegatables in a water down olive oil sauce. The shrimp were ok but the scallops and vegatables were so over cooked they were falling apart, there was so much sauce the dish was more like soup. No one ever asked us how our meal was, offered us water or cheese. The check was brought with our dessert, talk about trying to get you out quick to turn the table over. We were there for a total of 50 minutes. When leaving, very upset with the whole experience, we mentioned to the owner/manager how disappointed we were with the service and food at which he responded with an "ok" and "I'm sorry" and tried telling us the waitress threw out her back. What does that have to do with the food being over cooked. Our meal with drinks cost us $108, $108 for the worse meal and dining experience I have ever had. We will never go back, I suggest you stay away too.

This place is fabulous! My husband and I had calamari, filet mignon, and veal piccata. It was all very tender. My husband was able to cut his filet with his fork. We got the tiramisu for dessert, was also very good. The setting was relaxed. There was no rush. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

very nice staff but food was horrible. We had been there before and food was good but were very disappointed second time around. Bland, overcooked fish and pasta.Vegies were doused with salt! Had to drink a glass of water to recover from the salt hit! Maybe they lost their chef? Won't be back at these prices and with food I wouldn't serve myself to anyone.
