B & B Grocery, Meat & Deli is a neighborhood grocery store with an outstanding deli and old-fashion meat market. It has been family owned and operated since Archie and John Brooks opened it in May 1922.
Since then five generations of the Brooks family have been dedicated to serving the best variety of quality meats and the freshest deli items to the Des Moines, Iowa community.

B&B is the best place to go and get a great sandwich. The people there are the best. It reminds me of a store I would find back home in Boston. I love the sandwiches and the meat is excellent
My daughter and I visited this deli at an old grocery store and we were shocked at the sandwiches that we ordered. First the atmosphere was very friendly, and then the sandwiches was HUGE and DELICIOUS. I didn't know it was such a big sandwich until they guy held it up. OMG!!! I could not pick up my sandwich with both of my hands. Thankfully, they cut it in half and told me it could be eaten in "two bites" instead of one. The taste was unreal. This will be my favorite place to grab a sandwich. If you eat here you will be satisfied.

This is one of the finest steak houses I have ever been too. A wonderful atmosphere that is second to none, outstanding service. Highly recommended!

my family grew up on the south side and b&b store you could not get anything better if your looking for the down home old fashion store with a smile it family no doubt about it the best meat bundles and deli in town.

You have to experience this place. They have sports stuff all over the place. Their meat and deli area remind me of the neighborhood grocery store I went to as a kid.
I had their hot italian sausage. AWESOME!!! Let's just say I'll be back.

B&B Deli is the best. Their Dad's Killer is fantastic.
This place reminds me a lot like that old show Cheers...Where everyone knows your name...only with great food. The guys there can make a great sandwich and update you on your favorite sports team all at the same time. Their Dad's Killer is fantastic.
Just ask yourself this question: How many deli's are on a rock album cover???
