We loved this restaurant. Unlike other restaurants that offer a steak dinner, Andy's offers a full meal where dishes match and although the steak might be the primary reason for visiting, we left with an overall feeling of dining at all levels. The wines were outstanding and affordable and the servers and bartender are all knowledgeable. The restaurant is in a little old house in Oxford, just off the Oxford Square and there is a real friendly home-like feel being there; there were families, fine diners and casual diners all interacting like they lived there. The steaks we had, KC Strip and Ribeye, were cooked to perfection and were not overseasoned or sauced. One of our party had the Kangaroo special that night and it was tremendous, especially with the garlic broccoli. A nice surprise was the home-made desserts. They don't have a set dessert menu and that seems to be because, according to the bartender, the chef is inspired by the weather and fresh local ingredients or in one case by a mayan tradition of a chili-chocolate sauce. The restaurant is a wonderful addition to Oxford where good restaurants abound.
