sorry to say that the Woodhaven restaurant is in bad need of being remodeled. the seats were awful, carpet dirty,old, old old!!! Food wasn't as good as it use to be either. Not going back anytime soon that's for sure!

The Amigo's in Taylor, Michigan had one yellow book review with one star, and one comment that says worst restaurant ever.Our review board previously thought they had good food, and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. So we went and were seated right away !We seen a woman that worked there standing at the table behind us, with the amount of conversation that was going on we assumed that she was off her shift.... about ten minutes go by, still no chips, no drinks, not even a look! After another minute or so, the woman chatting it up with the people behind us, asked if we were ready to order! I could not believe that this is the level of service I was going to receive!! It was unexeceptable, so One of our staff just asked her," Are you serious?"" You are our server?", next thing we know, the manager brings out our drinks and chips!! O.K. so now no waitress! We inquire as to if she was the manager, she replied "yes." We began to inform her of the service to see what she would do, as far as a customer service stand point ....Her only concern was," Did she take our order ?",and was willing to do nothing more! So If this is the way they run their restaurant their rating is correct! Salsa tasted like pizza sauce , Rice was dry, Beans tasted like they were out of a can. The Restrooms were filthy. The toilet was full, and the sinks were dirty. The floor was not clean. The waitresses didnt care about work just socializing. This restaurant barely deserved one star. This restaurant has everything no one wants, Food , Poor Service, Poor Cleanliness ,No Smiling Faces, and very long wait time etc....

We dine at the Taylor location on the corner of Eureka/ Allen Rd, which has much more seating than the Woodhaven location. The food is delicious, the waitstaff is very friendly , we eat there at least 2-4 times a month!

Best Mexican Value in Downriver! Food is excellent and the prices are as well. Because of this though the restaurant can get quite busy. It is located in a strip mall and seating is somewhat limited.
