Please if anyone finds that they have relocated, post it here. I'd gone there for 17 years. No one has a better Pollo Fundito. The food and service we...
Very good food at a great price. Authentic, clean and great service. And as a bonus honest workers, I left my cell phone there and didn't realize it...
My family and I dined there tonight and the food was OK. HOWEVER, the host/manager for the night was not welcoming. Upon arrival and following a request for a booth away from the bar his SARCASTIC comment to us was "sure, we can seat you back there (indicating a booth toward the rear of the main seating area) but the waiter will have to walk further to serve you". I replied that "I didn't realize we would be having dinner and sarcasim tonight", his reply was "sometimes". Is this how Ajo Al's trains their employees to treat their customers? Although we've eaten there before I'm not eager to recommend them to anyone or to visit them again.

This is the place we have measured others for 10 years regarding getting good bang for the buck! Tasty, value, good service, excellent maggies (with decent booze in them), good chips/salsa. Try the Pizza Nortenia - this has made many believers with people we have taken there. For a light, excellent, but huge and good value salad - try the Salad Carbon (pronounced carb - on).

So super yummy. I love going to Ajo Al's when I am in town. I totally crave the queso dip, a must try! The whole beans are surprisingly better than I thought when they were recommended to me by the waitress.

We have always had absolutely fabulous service at every Ajo Al's we've been to. That is the main thing that brings us back - and the great food too.

I agree with some of what others have said. I am a regular weekly customer of Ajo Al's and I love the food. The service at 16th St and Camelback needs work. What is sad is that they don't recognize you even though you go there at least once a week. I love the ambiance and service at the Peoria store near the arrowhead mall.
i ordered one of the combos with rice and i started eating rice and i crunched down on some glass. it broke all to pieces in my mouth, it didnt cut me and i got the glass out. i told the waitress and she saw the glass and gave me my meal free. not that i ate anymore. the food was great besides that 1 issue

I have been going to the Ajo Al's on 90th St in Scottsdale since it opened and had great service. The store on 16th and Camelback needs better bussers and bartenders. Most servers are friendly, but a few have an attitude that makes me feel like an obligation instead of a paying, frequent customer. The food has always been great!
