We travel from Upstate NY to visit Adolph's for their out of this world smoked Sausages and meats. The neighborhood's a littel rough, but we brave it to get the BEST kilbasi in the northeast. The ladies behind the counter are a little ethnic and its kind of neat to hear them bantering with each other and customers in their native tongue (or other foreign languagues) bit they have their regulars and you just have to be patient and ready with your order. A must visit (and Grill their product) for anyone in Hartford.

It is a shame I nolonger live in the South End of Hartford because I can't shop at Adlof's as much as I used to. I have shopped their for 20 years and received the best quality food. My personal favorites are the smoked garlic keilbasa, special easter keilbasa, and at Christmas their Swwedish Korv is to die for. I was vey concerned when they had their fire a few years back but was more than relieved they rebuilt better than ever. The service has always been great and contained a smile every time. THIS IS A MUST SHOP!!!
