Adelino's Old World Kitchen was founded on the simple premise of supplying great food, drink, and service in an environment which fosters friendly conversation and interaction. The menu features recipes from around the Mediterranean and is served either traditional tapas style or your choice of family style. When young Adeline entered America through Ellis Island he held true to the belief that family comes first and friends are a part of the family. In Adelino's eyes nothing was better than sharing a meal with friends and family with good home cooking, plenty of Vino to drink and spending all night laughing and conversing. We invite you into Adelino's kitchen to enjoy those same experiences old world style. We strive to provide the warm heartfelt hospitality which truly makes you feel like one of the family.

I've gone to The Maize with as much frequency as possible since 2001 and have always thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the experience. Not only are the food and drink excellent, the staff is always gracious and greets you like a true guest. I am always impressed with this since I travel 50 miles to go there and am treated like a local who visits them so much more often than I do. I can't say enough about the cuisine and perfectly crafted cocktails...I think the owners and the staff have grasped a perfect concept in that regard. I recommend The Maize to everyone and always get great reports from those who followed my recommendation.

We were told we would be seated in 25 minutes. Instead it took nearly an hour, even though I could see more than 4 tables open after 30 minutes of waiting. The salads were soggy and over-peppered but the seafood was OK.
