I love the breakfast and the food is great, but the woman that seats you at the door lacks a lot . I have left several times because she would be laughing and talking with the other emp. and leave the people waiting to eat standing. I left again this morning, same old thing , you need someone new to seat people that pays attention to the customers who are waiting with no service.

Recently we had breakfast at Abele's. After we were seated by the hostess, we sat for a while without any type of service. After a while, the hostess noticed that we had not recieved any service. She directed someone our way. After we helped ourselves to the bar, we had to continue to wait for our drinks. The food was great, as always. As we approached the counter, the cashier was involved in a private conversation with another employee. She took our bill and money, and gave us our change without ever acknowledging us or speaking.

Always great food and service! The buffet is the BEST, especially the breakfast. Fresh fruit on the bar, too!

This place is great! We found it by accident and have been back like four times, even though it's over an hour drive from our house. The Coconut (HOMEMADE) Custard Pie is heaven! I will be driving there on Christmas Eve just to buy one and have dinner with the kids!

This is a great family dining experience in a casual atmosphere! Prices are family friendly and the food is excellent. We loved the fresh salad and fruit bar as well as the other menu items we tried-kids sphagetti and spuds. We are defnitely coming back to visit here on our trips to the mountains.

What a great little diner! I love most of all the salad bar with the fresh fruit..Delicious and so fresh! We drive from Charlotte at least once a month to eat here because nothing beats it..You must eat here!
I love this place, it is where my boy friend and I had our first date 7 months ago. It is a home town kind of place. Everyone knows your name and you are treated like family. I highly reccomend it to everyone.
