While the trout cheek appetizer didn't quite make it for us (overdone cheeks, floury sauce) the sushi was indeed "to die for." Of course, it may be that coming from Chicago our taste buds weren't used to such freshness, such melt in your mouth consistency! It ruined us for whatever sushi we get here! And our truthful complaint that the appetizer didn't make it was received with concern and grace and a free, delicious sampling of their green tea ice cream and cheese cake (again, to die for!) Funky neighborhood. Techno rock background can be intrusive at times. Great service!

One of the most fantastic restaurants in the city! The food is amazing and the talent in the jazz club is phenomenal. There's always great ambience and music, the service is fine, and the food is the most delicious Japanese food in San Francisco.

I ate here when I worked in the Financial District of San Francisco. There were always long lines of hungry Office workers. The Chicken Teriyaki was the best. I plan to stop by to eat here when I visit San Francisco. Stephen

Food is good, service is efficient and the view of the bay is just fantastic. I never grow tired of dining at Sinbads.. it has the freshest seafood Ive ever had. Oh, leave room for desserts, they're so good, too.
