It is heartbreaking to write this latest review for what use to be one the best Chinese Buffets in the area. However it looks like ownership or at lest management changed hands in the last few months. And things have gone downhill. The food no longer has any flavor, and is not as fresh as it once was. Sad… sad day.
We notice the original management was training the replacement for a few months. But once the familiar management face were gone food quality and passion went with the them. We offer feedback to the current management but did little good.

35 Chinese Buffet Restaurant was a disappointment for me and my son. We eat often at all of the Chinese buffet restaurants for lunch. The waiter seemed to have good English but he mumbled in a fast, low volume voice. He did not refill our teas when needed. We asked for more napkins and he gave us one napkin each. Some of the food was only fair. I felt like a unvalued customer as compared to person. We will not return there.

The food is good but the service is hit and miss. Unfortunately they miss more than hits. There is just too many other in the Chapel Hill area to come back anytime soon.

This is a pretty good buffet. I would say the food is better than mediocre pushing towards pretty good... :) I like the fact that they do serve some variants of authentic Chinese food in the buffet. Would definitely consider going back to try other items I didn't have room for during the first visit. :)

This is a good place to go to fill up. The food is mediocre, but the price for the buffet is right - especially for hungry students.
